I'll be using this section to post about my latest works and projects.

Currently, I'm putting the final touches on the designs for Plunge, which you can already find posted on this site. Plunge is a story about a freshman art student named Camilla who finds herself tossed in the middle of a world of Islamic mythology...in the dorm bathrooms! In an attempt to save her own butt, she hastily signs a toilet paper contract and becomes a magical girl...er...woman. Aided by mature and bubbly senior magical woman Amira and their anxious little ghost friend Karin, Camilla must put a stop to the Djinn uprising in her college for one reason and one reason only: so she won't have to wear that fluffy dress anymore!

I co-wrote this story in 2015 with my best friend and talented graphic designer Allyson Florez.  We wanted to re-create the classic magical girl world but for us as we were in that moment: adults of different backgrounds, sexualities, and abilities who wanted to feel like it was never too late for the adventure of a lifetime to begin! Allyson is an imaginative storyteller, a detailed world-builder, and was an incredible critic to me while I worked on creating the pieces for this portfolio. She used her keen graphic designer's eye to help me keep my designs simple and to the point. I learned a lot from her during this process and we're both so happy to be sharing these designs with you now!
